- Experience & achievements: Conducted 3 Months certificate course on Bedside Assistants / Caregivers
- Objectives
- To impart knowledge and understanding of ageing, age related diseases and disabilities suffered by elders, their needs and behaviour.
- To equip the trainees with necessary basic skills to handle and manage the ailing elders and keep them comfortable as expected by the family members and directed by the doctors attending on them either at their homes or in institutions.
- To enhance the skills of less educated girls and increase their employability in Old Age Homes, Day Care Centers, Hospitals, Home Care Institutions.
- To provide them with an opportunity to be engaged in Home/Institution based Care-giving.
- To provide them with an opportunity to be engaged in dignified profession and have income security.
- To impart knowledge & understanding of ageing, age related diseases & disabilities.
- To equip the trainees with necessary basic skills of care giving, self confidence & communication.
